• Account information — email address and display name provided at sign-up.
• Profile data — username, avatar, and any bio you choose to add.
• Playlist and activity data — playlists you create, items you add, reactions (watchlist, seen, ratings), and follow relationships.
• Preferences — streaming provider preferences and content settings stored to personalise your experience.

2. Authentication

Authentication is handled by Supabase, which provides secure email/password login and Google OAuth sign-in. Supabase processes your credentials in accordance with their own privacy policy. We do not store raw passwords.

3. Third-Party Tracking

We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services at this time. Movie and TV metadata is fetched from The Movie Database (TMDB) solely for displaying content and is not used to build user profiles.

4. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to provide and improve the WOWtchy service:

• To authenticate you and maintain your session.
• To save and display your playlists and activity.
• To power social features such as follows and shared playlists.
• To personalise content recommendations based on your provider preferences.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Delete your account — this removes your profile, playlists, and associated data from our database.
• Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
